Sherlock Holmes and James Bond: just their names create a thrill. They are both super-smart; super-cool in dangerous situations; and they have both faced down some ruthless criminals. But what were the early influences that formed their characters? Which of the two would you want as a partner? And what would happen if they ever came face to face?

Steve Cole is author of the Astrosaurs and Cows in Action books and knows all about action, adventure and pure, pulse-pounding excitement. He has just written his first Young Bond novel. Andrew Lane has now written seven acclaimed books about the Young Sherlock Holmes.  Join them at this special Holmes versus Bond event. Licensed to thrill? That’s elementary.

This event will be chaired by children’s author Tony Bradman.
