Successful entrepreneur and co-founder of Rude Health Nick Barnard explains how to make a success of creating and running an ethical business.

Barnard founded the healthy food and drinks company Rude Health with his wife Camilla in 2005. It has since grown rapidly, winning awards for taste and ethical standards, including six Soil Association Organic Food Awards and 15 Great taste Awards. Rude Health is also recognised in CoolBrands list of Britain’s trendiest brands. Barnard has also founded the pioneering online pet store petspark.com and is an advisor to Tablehurst and Plaw Hatch community farms.

Barnard also joins a healthy eating panel with Madeleine Shaw and Calgary Avansino on Saturday April 9 to talk about his recipe book, Eat Right, in which he celebrates the traditional and inherited values of using an ever changing seasonal variety of natural ingredients.

This event is part of the festival’s leadership programme sponsored by HSBC.
