Illustrator and writer Nick Sharratt talks about writing his first illustrated chapter book, The Cat and the King, and about his other brilliant picture books.
There will be live drawing and the chance to ask him questions about being a bestselling author and illustrator.

Sharratt is illustrator of more than 250 favourite books by authors including Jacqueline Wilson and Jeremy Strong. He has won many awards for his picture books including the Red House Children’s Book Award.

Here he talks to The Sunday Times children’s books editor Nicolette Jones.
