Journalist and writer John Crace offers his funny and informative account of the corridors of power since the formation of the Coalition Government almost five years ago. Crace, parliamentary sketch writer for the Guardian, combines real dialogue with his own hilarious take on events to provide both an informative and funny reflection on coalition life, the special relationship (William Hague and Angelina Jolie), Osborne and the economy, Miliband, UKIP and the impending election.

Crace also writes the Digested Read column for the Guardian, a condensed parody of well-known books, and is author of Vertigo: One Football Fan’s Fear of Success, Harry’s Games: Inside the Mind of Harry Redknapp and The Digested 21st Century.
