About this Event:

From Charley’s Aunt to the latest episode of Inspector Lewis, Oxford has proved a magnate for filmmakers and filmgoers alike.  Whether it is a Bollywood spectacular or Harry Potter, the streets and quadrangles of Oxford are a familiar background to numerous films.  In this walk, explore the city that has provided the setting for films as diverse as The Golden Compass and A Yank at Oxford and hear about ‘film’ Oxonians such as Rosamund Pike, Emma Watson, Kris Kristofferson and Rowan Atkinson.
