About this Event:

Historian Bettany Hughes, who campaigns for the teaching of classics in schools, newsreader Zeinab Badawi, a trustee of the new University of the Arts, and Baroness Gillian Shephard, former secretary of state for education, share their passions and experience in a discussion on the state of education, chaired by The Sunday Times Magazine editor Sarah Baxter. All four are graduates of St Hilda’s College, and this event is part of the St Hilda’s Day at the festival.
