Welcome to a Very Short Introduction soapbox. A short talk lasting 15 minutes from an expert in the field. The talk is free and takes place in Blackwell’s Marquee, next to the Sheldonian Theatre.

Founder of the Institute of Spirituality Philip Sheldrake looks at the growth of spirituality and its relation to religion. What is spirituality, what are its historical foundations and why is it still so important today? Sheldrake is a senior research fellow in the Cambridge Theological Federation, honorary professor of the University of Wales, and a regular visiting professor in the United States.
