BookwormJoin in and have fun playing the wonderful game of Bookworm while you listen carefully to Adèle Geras and Geraldine McCaughrean reading passages from their own and other brilliant books before they ask you questions that put your skills of instant recall to the test.

This event is for ages 6 and upwards in mixed-aged teams of 4 to 6 players. You can come as a team, or we’ll help you to form a team on the day.

Geras was an actress, singer and French teacher before turning to full-time writing in 1976. Since then, she has published more than 90 books for children and young adults including Troy; Ithacka; Happy Ever After; Silent Snow; and A Thousand Yards of Sea. McCaughrean has written more than 130 books and plays for adults and children, including a sequel to Peter Pan. She won the Carnegie Medal for A Pack of Lies and is a three-time winner of the Costa award.
