Join Polly Faber and Clara Vulliamy, the creators of Mango & Bambang, for this interactive session. As Vulliamy draws, Faber reads the enchanting story of a little girl called Mango and her pet tapir Bambang as they get into all sorts of trouble and adventures. Children will have the chance to draw their own friend for Bambang and to enjoy tapir music and maybe some flamenco dancing.

Faber and Vulliamy’s Mango & Bambang stories are perfect for newly independent readers. There are four funny, entertaining stories in each collection, short enough to be read easily in one go and full of lively two-colour illustrations.
“First chapter books with real charm, Mango & Bambang have the warmth reminiscent of the Paddington stories. With expressively characterised and comical pictures on every page, this is a lesson in tolerance and joie de vivre” The Sunday Times

Suitable for children in years 1 and 2
