It’s very hypnotic and dense yet uniquely plausible and implausible because none of it makes sense

A lovely man. I had dinner with him and his wife in LA. He was very old, about 90, but was very enthusiastic about everything and had great energy.
3. A book you wish you’d written? Victor Hugo’s Les Miserables
4. A book you would have most wanted ‘dedicated’ to you? ‘Someplace to be Flying’ by Charles de Lint
5. Favourite word? ‘Louche’
