Mick Herron Interviewed by Triona Adams

One of Britain’s best thriller writers Mick Herron talks about his life of writing thrillers and crime fiction including about his Slough House series of novels, which is currently being filmed for television.

Herron’s Slough House novels have been shortlisted for eight CWA daggers, winning twice. The first, Slow Horses, introduced Slough House, an outpost for disgraced spies to see out the rest of their careers pushing paper. They, however, just want to be back in action. The latest, Slough House, finds the crew navigating a corrupt web in the aftermath of a Novichok poisoning. The series is now being turned into a television drama starring Gary Oldman.
