Paul Caruana Galizia

Journalist Paul Caruana Galizia talks about his family’s quest for justice for his mother, Daphne, a reporter who was assassinated amid her efforts to investigate corruption in Malta.

Galizia recounts how he returned to Malta after being told of his mother’s assassination and, together with his father and his brothers, began an investigation to find out who was responsible for the death of Daphne and who stood to profit from it. It became an examination of the globalisation of corruption and what it has done to a modern European country and about a country’s escape from colonialism to another kind of arrogant power.
