Jeremy Morris

Anglican priest and author Rev Canon Dr Jeremy Morris weaves together social, political, and religious history, with church music and architecture in a look at Anglican history through the ages.

Morris ranges from the Reformation to the return to Catholicism under Mary, the English Civil War, Restoration of the monarchy in 1688, the expulsion of the Dissenters, the 1689 Bill of Rights, and the Industrial Revolution. How has the church endured and what is its future?

Morris is a priest, former Master of Trinity Hall, Cambridge, and author of eight books on different aspects of the Church of England. He was awarded the Lanfranc Award for Education and Scholarship by the Archbishop of Canterbury.
