Smith is professor of Shakespeare studies at Hertford College, Oxford and author of the bestselling This is Shakespeare. Her most recent books are Portable Magic: A History of Books and their Readers, The Making of Shakespeare’s First Folio and Shakespeare’s First Folio: Four Centuries of an Iconic Book. She talks about her latest book in the Weston Library lecture theatre at noon on the same day.
