Join national treasure Michael Rosen for a morning of family entertainment, stories and poems, featuring new releases and classics from his incredible back catalogue. 

As well as many old favourites, Rosen will also be discussing his new book, The Incredible Adventures of Gaston Le Dog, a playful tale that sprinkles myth, magic and fairy tale to tell the story of one dog’s odyssey to return to the beautiful beach he remembers from years ago. Inspired by stories Rosen used to tell his son on holiday in France, this was the book he dreamed of writing while recovering from Covid and features a cast of animal friends.

Rosen is a prolific children’s author, poet and political columnist. He was Children’s Laureate between 2007 and 2009 and his books include We’re Going on a Bear Hunt, winner of the Nestlé Smarties Book Prize, and Many Different Kinds of Love: A Story of Life, Death and the NHS, an account of his experience being hospitalised with COVID-19.
