Award-winning French novelist Antoine Laurain talks about his new murder mystery, French Windows, described as reminiscent of Hitchcock with a Parisian heart.

Young photographer Nathalia is seeing a therapist as she is no longer able to work after accidentally capturing a murder. She simply watches the inhabitants of the building opposite. Her doctor suggests she writes about the people she observes. Nathalia creates vivid accounts of the lives of her neighbours and her doctor is captivated by them. He can’t work out whether they are real, and, as Nathalia turns to the top of the building, they take a deadly turn.

Laurain is author ten novels that have sold 200,000 copies in the English language including The Red Notebook and The President’s Hat. An Astronomer in Love won Le Prix Jules Verne and Le Prix de l’Union Interallie.
